Eileen is a trained, accredited and acclaimed interior designer who ran a design office in the North East for several years and made a considerable impact on the commercial interior design world, doing high profile Corporate Headquarters as well as prestigious residential work. Some of her Corporate clients were: ADP, Johnson and Johnson, Colgate-Palmolive, Baby Products Building, Iolab and Abbott Laboratories. (I.M. Pei; the architect of the glass pyramid addition to the Louvre, in Paris, France; once cited Eileen for her considerable contribution to the J&J Corporate Headquarters Bldg. in New Brunswick, N.J). The I.M. Pei architectural firm designed the J&J headquarters building and Eileen was responsible for all of the interior design and space planning.

At present, ESD does residential and commercial interior design work in the lovely Scottsdale-Cave Creek- Carefree area.

Eileen's design philosophy: "Good design is no more expensive than bad design".

Eileen's perspective on the practice of interior design: "Light, form, volume, color and shape, are some of the elements of design. The way these elements are utilized; be it in a residence, an office building, or a hotel lobby; a mood and a message is conveyed. In my work, the message becomes my client's message. I interpret the client's wishes and within the allotted budget - give expression to a space so that it functions as intended and also enriches the spirit of the people who live, visit, or work there."
